Hadar Chalet Traditional Orthodox Barn Wedding Barn | Destination Wedding Photographers
We’ve been to many places. From Norway to Holland, to Finland, all over England, but none was quite like this. Have you ever dreamt of a place in your mind and one day, you got to see it with your own eyes?
This is Hadar Chalet for us. We’ve always imagined having a little cabin right at the edge of a fir trees forest, but never thought this actually existed. When the opportunity came for us to shoot a wedding at Hadar Chalet Barn, we were over the moon! It did not disappoint.
Apparently one of the cabins here used to belong to Ceausescu, the Communist leader. Some people with great vision managed to buy it and after many years of hard work, it’s one of the most sought after locations to see in the Carpathian Mountains. There’s cabins you can hire and a very inviting outdoor swimming pool overlooking the forest. A busy restaurant is serving some of the most delicious home made good and , of course, the Hadar Chalet Wedding Barn.
This is a dreamy wooden barn for your wedding day! It may sound like and advert but seriously, we can not recommend this place enough to host your event.
Iceland is pretty cool too, but this place is going to blow your minds!
The bride and groom both live in Switzerland. They wanted to find a perfect location for their dream barn wedding, where friends and family from all over the world could gather. We’ve met people speaking so many languages in one place, it was an absolute honour to be there!
This Hadar Chalet Barn wedding almost felt like a royal event, with crowns and all. I loved that in the orthodox tradition, the bride and groom get to wear a crown during the wedding ceremony. It couldn’t have been more suited.
Guys, your wedding was above and beyond any expectation we had! One of the most incredible wedding venues in the mountains and some of the most delicious food we had at an event. We’ll always remember you, the incredible music (you’ve got some gooood taste!) and the drive to the lake!
Thank you so much for having us there.
