Relaxed Wedding by the Nordic Sea in Stavanger, Norway | Norway Wedding Photographer
Last autumn, we were fortunate enough to shoot a beautiful destination wedding in Stavanger, Norway. Clients turned quickly into friends as we were charmed by this new culture and their calm and genuine spirits.
When we heard the brides brother was getting married and we were invited, we were thrilled to be back there, seeing dear friends and the grooms family again, talking about history and eating sweet cheese.
We’ve witnessed quite a few weddings so far and what I’ve learned is that the event will always feel just as the couple is. Some can be very traditional or completely relaxed, some are extremely elegant, others very creative. This means it will always be unique and extremely special and Anders and Una’s wedding was calm, fun and very relaxed. Very close friends and family, including her 8 bridesmaids, all best friends since high school, came from far and farther to rejoice with their friends and share the best memories (which clearly, we did not understand a word of).
What was particularly unique about this wedding is that at 11 p.m. (yes, at night), we were on the beach, still shooting and breathing in the Nordic sea breeze and also being in awe of the purple sunset tones, as if a magic tale was unfolding in front of our eyes.
Anders and Una, it was a privilege to witness and photograph your day. Don’t worry, we shall meet again, there are more brothers and sisters to be photographed.
