Larmer Tree Gardens Wedding | Wiltshire Wedding Photographer
The day started off pretty unpredictable, like any Summer day in England – with showers of warm rain, just enough to make any bride nervous, but always with the promise of a beautiful day to come.
Lizzie, an award-winning writer and editor was surrounded by her twin sister and her closest friends and family, as they got ready at her parent’s home, for an amazing Larmer Tree Gardens wedding in Whiltsire! Once she had her stunning Pronovias wedding dress on, everything became so real and her nerves almost went away.
As we arrived at Larmer Tree Gardens, the rain had stopped just in time and a cheeky Macaw greeted the bride and her bridesmaids as everyone was excitedly getting ready to walk down the aisle.
We could not have been more thrilled to shoot some of the wedding portraits on the stages of The Singing Theatre which, few hundreds of years back, was used for plays, poetry recitals and dancing. Thomas Hardy described it in 1895 to be “Quite the prettiest sight I ever saw in my life”. Indeed it was. You could almost imagine how it was back in the day, when the place was filled with people from upper class, walking around in their incredible outfits and talking politics.
Spectacular backdrops were all over on the grounds of Larmer Tree Gardens and it was an absolute honour to be part of this beautiful wedding day.
Lizzie and Rob, thank you. Thank you for keeping so cool despite the weather and being all smiles throughout the day! We wish you a lifetime of joy and happiness, no matter the season of your life!
