Norway, you have a little bit of my heart.
This Haugesund wedding was extra special for me ( Diana). It was probably the last time I get to shoot a solo wedding in Norway. Also, the people, the atmosphere of the day and the beauty of Norway reminded me of how blessed I am.
I was so lucky to shoot the wedding of this young couple in Haugesund, Norway, a viking town I’ve never been to before. I still remember the bag of shrimps I bought from a fisherman and then went off eating all of it with my toes dipped in the Nordic sea. It is so quiet and beautiful there, it’s hard to describe.
But if you’ve ever attended a Norwegian wedding, you should know that weddings are far from being quiet. They’re actually so full of life and laughter and people know how to party in such a fun way, like I’ve never seen before. This is why we love coming back here again and again.
One of my favourite things from the day was the grooms’ green velvet wedding suit, from Tiger of Sweden. He looked so incredibly handsome next to his beautiful princess bride.
I can’t express enough how much I loved being part of this day and how special the entire weekend was for me. I felt rested, so loved and had the best fun ever! I hope the images show the same, too!
