What a pleasure to start the wedding season as a Guildford wedding photographer for Jon and Ginny’s Spring wedding in Guildford, Surrey.
The morning started of very relaxed but quite emotional, surrounded by friends and family in their Guildford rental home. Once the bride was ready, we all went to St Albans Hindhead church, for a beautiful wedding ceremony. The Sun was shining through the windows as though to be part of their wedding vows.
It is always a treat when we can go off with the couple somewhere away, so they can take time to breathe in and look at each other with no interruptions. We might happen to be around to photograph the moment as it organically happens. For this, we went on a bit of a car drive ( might have gotten lost for a bit, but it was worth it in the end! ) all the way to Devil’s punchbowl , in South West England, Surrey. The breathtaking view was the perfect setting for their bridal portraits.
Once a few kisses were stolen, we went to their beautiful reception venue, at the Grayswood Village Hall. The evening ended with a piñata challenge at the venue and some bonfire set up by the amazing Ben, who was actually one of our grooms few years back. I’d say it’s been a pretty good day and we’re very grateful to have been their Guildford wedding photographer!
