Country House Wedding at The Kennels Goodwood Wedding Venue | Chichester Wedding Photographer
When you know you get one chance to have the wedding day of your life, you might as well do it properly, right? Like having two gorgeous wedding dresses, two wedding cakes (funny enough, they didn’t want any in the beginning), the biggest wedding bouquet I had ever seen in my life and the best venue (The Kennels Goodwood) to host the party. It was perfect from beginning ’till the end.
Jess and Tom were able to show their personalities so well through this wedding and have the best time of their lives. Having No Limits Street Band definitely made for an unforgettable party- so much energy and everyone was dancing away on the dance floor. You can also find them on our list of recommended vendors – that’s how much we loved them!
Let’s start with the beginning though…
The couple, both passionate about vintage cars as their families were as well, have bought an Austin 7 Ulster ( called Algenon) after 2 weeks of meeting (!) and obviously it was their ride from church. And what a ride, isn’t it??
The bride was driven to church in her parents Volkswagen Camper Van (named Bill) , which was bought new by her grandpa and passed down through the family. It has many happy memories associated from family holidays and now, to their Kennels Goodwood wedding.
Jess decided to have not one but two wedding dresses for the day. The first one, for the church ceremony and part of the reception, was a classic and elegant Jesus Peiro from Ellie Sanderson Oxford. It truly reminded me of Meghan Markle‘s wedding dress or is it only in my head? (yes, I am secretly a huge fan so I had to name drop ). The second wedding dress was for the party, when Tom also changed his tail suit in a gorgeous velvet tuxedo. Jess wore an Alice Temperley wedding dress this time, from Black Swan Bridal, Wallingford. I absolutely loved it and of course she looked so gorgeous in both!
The bride and groom together with their two sausage dogs, are members of The Kennels Goodwood and have had so many lovely weekends away at Goodwood. It’s their home away from home. Must also mention Abigail from Albert and Arthur, whose wedding decoration and flowers were absolutely on point! I had rarely seen such wedding bouquets!
Guys, thank you so so much for having Green Antlers Photography shoot your Kennels Goodwood wedding! It was an honour and also an experience we’ll never forget.
