I know we are long overdue with an update on our move from London, but that’s coming very soon! Until then, here’s some thoughts on being a parent, a photographer, a human.
These past 4 days, Abel had high fever and barely slept (1 year old vaccines, don’t worry) but things are back to normal today, being cheeky and all, so a bit of time to post a dear image to me.
Boxes are unpacked and we already have a Zoo membership for Abel. We never miss a chance to hop in the car and travel wherever the roads take us and I sit in the car giggling like a kid in a candy store as we drive past places like this literally minutes from our house.
Moving from London didn’t come overnight for us. We knew we wanted to take this step for a long time now but from wanting to doing was a lot of nerves, sometimes tears and a lot of confusion ( a baby helped take the decision, of course!)
But here we are! And i love every second of it. I get excited every morning I look out the window.
I don’t tire watching my plants grow or feeding the sheep at the back of the garden (which, sadly, had to go to greener fields for a while)
This is just one of many corners of this part of the world that makes my heart happy.
Truly hope you are surrounded by places, flowers, humans that make you happy and enrich your life!
If not, maybe it’s time for a change, life is too short to be afraid.
